Building Inspector for the City of Asheville his wife Janie DeBruhl and mother of
Norman insisted he ride along with his father Arthur that fateful night. Dean DeSoto
found Norman in 2019 and made contact. Norman agreed to work with
Dean on his book, Saving Princess Zelda. Dean's mother was a patient
at Highland and survived the fire. Dean made a promise to his mother
to write the story about the fire and Zelda who was a friend of Deans mother and tried to save her

A birthday prayer for Arthur M. DeBruhl and his magnificent life. A man I never met, yet I know through his mortal work. He helped to save my mother from a terrible fire, and saved my father from the terrible fires of the end of World War 2. A special prayer for his young son Pete, a man and incarnate angel sent to help me complete my mortal task as assigned by our Lord. God bless them and the entire DeBruhl family. God bless AM and Pete. Lord hear my prayers. Amen
Dean DeSoto author of Saving Princess Zelda.
